Suezi is a Hatha Yoga and Meditation Teacher trained in the Himalayan Yoga Tradition – teaching a classical conscious style of Yoga where the focus is on awareness within the self, rather than performance.
After over 15 years practicing Yoga, she had the calling to deepen her practices in Yoga and Meditation and began her ongoing studies at Swami Rama Ashram in Rishikesh, India. A registered RYT200hr teacher with over 450 hours of training to date, with on-going study, mentoring and training at every opportunity, this includes comprehensive training in Yoga for Arthritis, Yoga Nidra and anatomy.
To create a sanctuary for those suffering any type of pain by making Yoga accessible to people of all capabilities, whether fit and agile or confined to a wheelchair. Adapting yoga practices to allow all to experience the joy and peace this can bring to life.
Over the years, having experienced her dear Mum’s health decline slowly. This was largely due to stress and past conditioning in her life until she passed away at the age of 86. During the final three decades of her life she struggled with chronic pain and suffering every day. This was the driving force that created the burning passion Suezi has for healthy living and helping others to connect with their own inner qualities through the practice of Yoga, Meditation, Pranayama and Relaxation.
Yoga is for life and it is never too late to begin your Yoga practice. You will start to notice the subtle changes in your attitude, your body and see an increase in your health, vitality, balance and joy for life.
Being here to assist students in creating space, free from obstacles of the mind and body, which will assist them to live a longer, happier, healthier life. Yoga is freedom, release and surrender. Her goal as a Yoga teacher is to be there to help others find this release so that they can comfortably and competently move their through life with grace and ease.
